Okra Sower, 2026 features a woman sowing seeds into the earth between two strong fruiting okra plants. She uses the movement of her whole body to tend to the seed and nourish the earth. The silhouette of the woman was found in March 2020 through movement, and was originally named 'Woman as Mountain." She transforms through material and surroundings and accompanies my practice as it shifts. You will see her accompany me in future works.
