Each of these okras are formed by hand. Lovingly made and crafted with its history in mind and the sustenance it brings.

The process of making this work has included growing okra from seed, cooking okra in a variety of ways, spinning okra stalks into fibre, printing the fruit on textile and card, and researching its use and movement from East Africa across the globe.

The ceramic Okra’s come in the following clays:

• BRT (Stoneware)

• Toast (stoneware)

• Speckled White (stoneware)

• Dark Matter (midfire)

They are the same or similar size to real okra pods, and are made of solid clay.
